Unlike photography, I have messed around with video and film making since I was 10. Around that time, YouTube became popular and all I wanted to learn how to do was make videos. Maybe not "Youtube" videos, but videos. I made a youtube channel and started doing skits with my friends and we'd have a blast doing them. Since then, my love for filmmaking grew exponentially and later became my study. My projects listed below are not limited to therefore I am always working on new things. I believe the more things I work on, the more I can perfect my craft.
Alexas from Texas is a narrative short I had done in college about a woman breaking Texas law. This film will be released in December of 2025.
This was also an intro-level film where I had done the gaffing and the color. This film was particularly fun because I had gotten to work with darker lighting scenarios.
This was a film I had done solo for a client whom wanted a workout edit of himself and I was able to convince him to allow me to build a narrative behind it. Overall one of my favorites.
This film was my first ever wedding I had done solo and I consider it more of a narrative rather than compilation due to including most of the ceremony (clients wishes). I had a lot of fun doing this especially since I had the appropriate equipment and a specific vision for how I wanted it to look. Doing this solo was also a little challenging because I only had one camera to work with, but even though it was only me, I wouldn't want it to look any different!
This personal advertisement experiment was done on Carhartt apparel. This video was a way for me to practice storytelling and advertisement as one whole video.
This montage was done solo in excitement when I had bought my first cinema camera. I really wanted to try out the new camera by gathering a series of b-roll and turning it into a montage/commercial for these boots that I own and I think it turned out pretty decent for the first time use.
This film by far is my favorite I've done solo. Not just because of what I captured in 8K! But editing this film was so surreal as well.
This was another practice advertisement I did with my truck. I wanted to experiment with digital FX titles and a short action sequence to tell the story of a high powered truck.
This film was done solo for a project for an advanced image enhancement class. Even though this film has no narration, I believe it to be a visual documentary of my small, rural college town.
This is the trailer of a documentary I directed in college. It is about a young woodworker and his mindset behind his craft. This film will be released in December of 2025.
